Therapeutic class and/or indications: Macrolides:  Respiratory-tract infections; otitis media; skin and soft tissue infections; uncomplicated genital chlamydial infections and non-gonococcal urethritis; mild or moderate typhoid due to multiple-antibacterial-resistant organisms; prophylaxis of endocarditis in children.
